John Form has found the perfect gift for his expectant wife, Mia - a beautiful, rare vintage doll in a pure white wedding dress. But Mia's delight with Annabelle doesn't last long. On one horrific night, their home is invaded by members of a satanic cult, who violently attack the couple. Spilled blood and terror are not all they leave behind. The cultists have conjured an entity so malevolent that nothing they did will compare to the sinister conduit to the damned that is now... Annabelle.. -IMDB
Well my wife has been putting off watching a scary movie for quite some time but she finally caved and we watched Annabelle. If you know anything about us we enjoy the occassional haunted house TV show such as A Haunting and Ghost Adventures. We have even went on a couple ghost hunting tours 1 at the famous Lemp Mansion in St. Louis Missouri and then the Missouri State Penitentiary in Jefferson City Missouri. Enough background about us and our adventures let's talk some Annabelle.
Building off of the background that was set up during the movie the Conjuring this movie goes into the background story of Annabelle. This movie is based off of true events that had been documented by Ed & Lorraine Warren.
Annabelle, a doll that inherited its name from the girl who committed suicide and had her blood drop into the eye of the doll wreaks havoc on a young couple and their daughter. You follow the young couple as they struggle with a new career as a doctor and a stay at home mother defending their daughter from the demon possessing the doll. There are numerous moments throughout this movie that pop up the goosebumps so be prepared. Definitely check out this movie if you are into horror films or looking for a good little movie to make your sweet heart snuggle in closer to you at night. Over all I give it 3.5 Turtle Shells out of 5!

The Walking Dead spin-off aka Cobalt has some leaked information & descriptions of characters to be further detailed as filming of the pilot episode gets closer.
According to leaked descriptions, Sean (the lead character) will have a smart and rebellious teenage son named Cody to look after. The pair supposedly hook up with a mother and her teenage daughter and son (they already cast Alycia Debnam and Frank Dillane), as well as a more bohemian type woman coming off a bad marriage.
Cliff Curtis cast as lead in the Walking Dead: Cobalt Spin-off
For fans of The Walking Dead, the casting of Curtis as the lead may be a good sign for the series. The actor may not be known by name that well, but a listing of his appearances in films like Training Day, The Last Airbender, Fracture, Blow and Live Free or Die Hard (and more recently the TV show Gang Related) will usually elicit a positive, "Oh yeah, him..." response from most viewers.
Using the description of what was listed above, Sean's son will be played by Frank Dillane who played a young Voldemort in Harry Potter: The Half Blood Prince. There are also reports that Frank could play Nick Tompkins the son of the Guidance Counselor Nancy Tompkins.
Also using the description listed above the daughter looks to be Alycia Debnam from Into The Storm.
As of right now Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam are the principle cast. As the pilot gets closer more details for these characters as well as other actor/actresses will be announced. Also, according to a TVLine report this Walking Dead Cobalt spinoff will take place in Los Angeles. Plot rumors show that Cobalt may be set earlier on in the Zombie Apocalypse... with it potentially chronicling it from the very start, when the government infrastructure was still intact and efforts were being made to contain it.
As Cobalt draws closer to shooting the pilot episode I've been drawn more interested in the spin-off series. Biggest reason is I'm hopeful about catching small clues that intertwine Cobalt with current Walking Dead series! I'm nerdy like that.
